The 2007 Domaine Saint Prefert Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Reserve Auguste Favier is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre grape varieties produced by Isabel Ferrando, former banker turned winemaker in the early 2000s. Since then, she has produced notable vintages greatly increasing the reputation and prestige of Domaine Saint Prefert.
Wines from the estate are distinctly modern, as Isabel does not shy away from new techniques: she rather combines them with the tradition of winemaking in the region. It is believed this embrace of modernity has put her ahead of the pack in the Chateauneuf-du-Pape region.
