The 2016 Seresin Marama Sauvignon Blanc is a white wine produced in New Zealand at the estate founded by Michael Seresin. An ex-Hollywood cameraman that put his signature under masterpieces as “Midnight Express”, “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” and, more recently, “Gravity”, Seresin pursued his dream of having his own winery and vineyard in the early 1990s.
The logo on the label of the bottle, a hand print, is indeed a representation of perhaps the most important value of the estate. A completely organic vineyard, since its foundations Seresin has been a pioneer of sustainable winemaking and a firm believer of hand-harvesting and sorting.
This aromatic 2016 Seresin Marama Sauvignon Blanc displays gooseberry, nettle, kiwi and lychee notes. As per the style of the white wines of the estate, fresh and flowery, the Marama Sauvignon Blanc is perfect for a hot summer’s day or to enjoy during an aperitif, while it’s a good pair with light food such as vegetables, seafood, sushi or soft cheese.
