The 2016 Luigi Bosca Finca Los Nobles Chardonnay is a white wine made in Mendoza by one of the biggest and most prominent producers in Argentina. Chardonnay grapes account for just over 7% out of the whole production at Bodegas Luigi Bosca, making this fine wine an authentic gem.
Luigi Bosca are known to produce wines that are rich in flavours, yet always with a certain balance of acidity. Due to the vines’ high altitude and the low night time temperatures, wines show great complexity and depth.
The 2016 Luigi Bosca Finca Los Nobles Chardonnay is aged for 12 months in 50% new French oak barrels: this technique imparts some vanilla flavours to the wine, matching quite well with other fruity aromas such as pineapple and mango, as well as its characteristic hints of honey. We would recommend this Chardonnay to be paired with chicken, soft cheese or, if you wish to be a bit more adventurous, we wouldn’t oppose to enjoy it while tucking into some fish & chips.
