The Beauty & The Taste is an online boutique for fine wine.

A selected, yet comprehensive catalogue of bottles picked to deliver an overview from the most important regions in the world: crafted by both iconic as well as well researched niche winemakers, high quality is the common denominator of anything we promote on the website.

We aim to deliver high quality throughout the whole customer experience: to do so, we base our business proposition on specific pillars.

Wine scores

We believe trust is key, even more so when purchasing high quality products. We only select products scored by world recognised wine critics, displaying both the score and the critic in each product pages. We are keen for our clients to be helped in understanding the quality of what they are drinking. We also collaborate with certified sommeliers around the world that specifically tasted and reviewed some of our bottles, as indicated in the products’ tasting cards. As per company policy, all our wines are scored 89/100 or above and the score can be verified on the critics’ independent website.

Producers

Across the most important wine regions and most representative grapes, we selected a limited number of producers that we believe to deliver a tasteful representation of a specific territory. During the selection process, we decided to pick both iconic, established producers along with smaller, yet very qualitative winemakers. Regardless the size of the estate or the extension of their fame, we ensure every bottle on the website equally delivers a meaningful identity of the wine region they represent.

Vintages

Our focus is on vintages showcasing wines at their peak, whenever possible. We want our products to be enjoyed straight away, rather than being kept in a cellar: for this reason, we tend to privilege slightly older vintages for our clients to be able to taste them as soon as possible. For the same reason, the availability of our wines can be fairly limited and we might need to jump across vintages from time to time.

Our Service

We believe in the customer experience to be a subjective matter, so we are more than happy for our clients to browse and purchase wines by the bottle. Everyone at TB & TT can compose their own mix case through a self-tailored user journey: regardless budget and personal taste, we built our catalogue to open our doors to as many wine lovers as possible.

We want fine wine to be easy: all the prices are including taxes and duties, so that our customers do not need to worry about hidden costs. We also don’t require any minimum order on any of our products, but we do offer free delivery over £200 orders only.

Our promise is to deliver all the orders placed before 3pm the very next working day in complete safety. To achieve so, we partner with experienced couriers and we repack all our bottles before delivery: this is a necessary requirement to ensure a safe and quick transport. This also means we cannot provide the original wooden case, unless it is specifically requested prior to the order and arranged with our Customer Services Team.
